The Transformers soundtrack is perhaps one of the best animated movie soundtracks ever
made. It contains 6 full songs and 4 instrumental pieces. The artistes featured here are
almost unheard of today but back in 1986, they were at their peak. Included are The Touch,
performed by Stan Bush and The Transformers by Lion. The music is generally rock oriented
but also has well-coordinated synthesized pieces which make up the score of the movie.
Death Of Optimus Prime is an exceptional musical piece unlike any other on the CD and
sooths the hard-edged electric sounds of the track before it. Other tracks include Dare, also
by Stan Bush and Dare To Be Stupid, almost as weird a song as its singer but nevertheless
entertaining. Definitely a treat for fans and music lovers. The soundtrack to this movie is
quite rare and to my knowledge is only globally available in one place.
The Touch
Artist: Stan Bush
Writers: Stan Bush, Lenny Macaluso
Producer: Richie Wise
Engineers: Tony Papa, Jamey Dell
You got the touch
You got the power
After all is said and done
You've never walked, you've never run,
You're a winner
You got the moves, you know the streets
Break the rules, take the heat
You're nobody's fool
You're at your best when when the goin' gets rough
You've been put to the test, but it's never enough
You got the touch
You got the power
When all hell's breakin' loose
You'll be riding the eye of the storm
You got the heart
You got the motion
You know that when things get too tough
You got the touch
You never bend, you never break
You seem to know just what it takes
You're a fighter
It's in the blood, it's in the will
It's in the mighty hands of steel
When you're standin' your ground
And you never get hit when your back's to the wall
Gonna fight to the end and you're takin' it all
You got the touch
You got the power
When all hell's breakin' loose
You'll be riding the eye of the storm
You got the heart
You got the motion
You know that when things get too tough
You got the touch
You're fightin' fire with fire
You know you got the touch
You're at your best when when the road gets rough
You've been put to the test, but it's never enough
You got the touch
You got the power
You got the touch
You got the power
Instruments of Destruction
Artist: N.R.G.
Writers: Ernest Petrangelo, Robin Ward, Steven Serpa
Producers: Ernie Burns
Engineer: Phil Greene
Iron birds of fortune
Adrift above the skies
Cloudy revelations
Unseen by naked eyes
Flying tools of torment
Will penetrate the sphere
Erupt the rock of ages
Bringing final fear
* Instruments of destruction
Tools of powerplays
It's a violent eruption
Existence drips away
What it really matter
When nothing really counts
Grave eternal darkeness
When drained of every ounce
And when the nightmare's over
The final from the storm
Dust of all creation
To ashes we transform
* Repeat

Sometimes when your hopes have all been shattered
And there's nowhere to turn
You wonder how you keep going
Think of all the things that really mattered
And the chances you've earned
The fire in your heart is growing
You can fly, if you try leaving the past behind
Heaven only knows what you might find
Dare - dare to believe you can survive
You hold the future in your hand
Dare - dare to keep all of your dreams alive
It's time to take a stand
And you can win, if you dare
Everybody's trying to break your spirit
Keeping you down
Seems like it's been forever
But there's another voice if you'll just hear it
Saying it's the last round
Looks like it's now or never
Out of the darkness you stumble into the light
Fighting for the things you know are right
Dare - dare to believe you can survive
The power is there at your command
Dare - dare to keep all of your dreams alive
It's time to take a stand
And you can win, if you dare
Dare - dare to believe you can survive
You hold the future in your hand
Dare - dare to keep all of your dreams alive
The power is there at your command
Dare - dare to keep all your love alive
Dare to be all you can be
Dare - 'cause there is a place where dreams survive
And it's calling you on to victory

The fortunate ones
To be fast and free and young
I want to count myself among
The fortunate ones
We won't be denied
We know that time is on our side
We've got the passion and the pride
We won't be denied
* This generations
With fire in our eyes
Strong are the ties that bind us
We don't need no alibis
** Nothing's gonna stand in our way
Nothing's gonna stand in our way
Nothing's gonna stand in our way
Not tonight
We want it all
And tonight we got the call
We're running high but we won't fall
We want it all
We won't be denied
Like a breaker at high tide
We're gonna take this sweet joy ride
We won't be denied
Grew expectations
Moments in the sun
We've waited all our lives
And now we know our time has come
** Repeat
Nothing's gonna stand in our way
* Repeat
** Repeat

Something evil's watching over you
Comin' from the sky above
And there's nothing you can do
Prepare to strike
There'll be no place to run
When your caught within the grip
Of the evil Unicron
Transformers
More than meets the eye
Transformers
Robots in Disguise
Strong enough to break the bravest heart
So we have to pull together
We can't stay worlds apart
To stand divided we will surely fall
Until our darkest hour
When the light will save us all
Transformers
More than meets the eye
Transformers
Robots in Disguise
Transformers
Autobots wage their Battle
To destroy the evil forces
Of the Decepticons
It's judgement day and now we've made our stand
And now the powers of darkness
Have been driven from our land
The Battle's over but the war has just begun
And this way it will remain til the day when all are one

When I see what I want
I'm going to take it
If it's against some law
You can bet I'll break it
My need to feed
Gives me the will to survive
I gotta find it fast
To keep me alive
* I can't believe my hunger
Hunger
I want it so bad I can taste it
It drives me mad to see it wasted
When I need it so bad that it's burnin' me
I'm hungry
I'd do anything to get it and feel no regret
Time is running out and I ain't found it yet
* Repeat
I gotta find it fast to keep me alive
Time is running out and I ain't found it yet
Time is running out and I ain't found it yet
And it's burnin' me
And it's burnin' me

Put down your chainsaw and listen to me
It's time for us to join in the fight
It time to let your babies grow up to be cowboys
It time to let the bed bugs bite
You better put all your eggs in one basket
You better count your chickens before they hatch
You better sell some wine before its time
You better find yourself an itch to scratch
You better squeeze all the charmin you can
When Mr. Whipple's not around
Stick your head in the microwave and give yourself a tan
Talk with your mouth full
Bite the hand that feeds you
Bite off more than you can chew
What can you do?
Dare to be stupid
Take some wooden nickels
Look for Mr. Goodbar
Get your motion working now
I'll show you how
You can
Dare to be stupid
You can turn the other cheek
You can just give up the ship
You can eat a bunch of sushi and forget to leave a tip
Dare to be stupid
Dare to be stupid
It's so easy to do
Dare to be stupid
We're all waiting for you
It's time to make a mountain out of a molehill
Forget I have a volunteer
There's no more time for crying over spilt milk
It's time for crying in your beer
So don't join the army join the PTA
Buy some sensible shoes and a chevrolet
Then party til you're broke and they drag you away
It's okay
You can dare to be stupid
It's like spitting on a fish
It's like barking up a tree
It's like they say you gotta buy one if you want
To get one free
Dare to be stupid
Yeah why don't you dare to be stupid
It's so easy to do
Dare to be stupid
We're all waiting for you
Dare to be stupid
Burn your candle at both ends
Look a gift horse in the mouth
Mashed potatoes can be your friend
You can be a coffee achiever
You can sit around the house and Leave It To Beaver
The Future's up to you
So what you gonna do
Dare to be stupid
Dare to be stupid
What did I say?
Dare to be stupid
Tell me what did I say?
Dare to be stupid
It's alright
Dare to be stupid
We can be stupid all night
Dare to be stupid
Come on join the crowd
Dare to be stupid
Shout it out loud
Dare to be stupid
I can't hear you
Dare to be stupid
Okay, I can hear you
Dare to be stupid
Let's go
Dare to be stupid
Dare to be stupid
